Promotional Competition Rules (“Rules”)

1. 1. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by Ocean Basket Franchise Company registration number 97/17819/07 (“Promoter”).
   2. This offer may not be used in conjunction with any other offer of the Promoter.
   3. The Competition begins on 5 February 2024 and ends 5 May 2024. The Promotor reserves the right to change these dates.
   4. The Competition is open to all persons of 18 (eighteen) years or older and resident in South Africa, with valid passports and who meet the entry requirements for Mauritius, except the Promoter’s directors, partners, employees, agents, consultants and their immediate families.
   5. Participation by all entrants (“Entrants”) constitutes acceptance of these Rules.
   6. The prize comprises of return economy class flights for travel between May and October 2024 (subject to availability) ex Cape Town, OR Tambo or Durban for 2 adults and 2 children to Mauritius, 7 nights’ all-inclusive accommodation package at a 4-star resort, airport taxes and resort transfers and 2 activities.
   7. The Prize excludes passport costs, travel costs to and from the departing airport, medical aid insurance and spending money. Any upgrade of the 2 children’s tickets to 2 adult tickets will be at your cost.
   8. The Promotor may in its sole discretion award a similar prize in value if, for any reason whatsoever, the Prize become unavailable.
   9. To qualify entrants must:
      • • Like and follow the Ocean Basket SA Facebook page, Like the Mauritius Competition Post and Invite (tag) 3 friends to the Ocean Basket Page by sharing any of the Mauritius competition posts (invite/tag your 3 friends under the comments section of any of our competition posts) OR
        • Follow the Ocean Basket SA Instagram page, Like Mauritius Competition Post and invite (tag) 3 friends to the Ocean Basket Instagram Page by sharing any of the Mauritius competition posts (invite/tag your 3 friends under the comments section of any of our competition posts)
   10. Additional bonus entries can be made as set out below:
       • 1 Entry: Each time you spend more than R200 on a bill and send a photo of the bill to the competition email address competitions@oceanbasket.com;
       • 2 Entries: Each time you spend more than R200 on a bill and add a sauce (Mediterranean, Spicy Summer or Herb Butter sauce) and send a photo of the bill to the competition email address competitions@oceanbasket.com;
       • 2 Entries: Download and register for the Ocean Basket mobile app (“App”) from:

         • Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oceanbasket.orderingapp&pli=1;
       • 1 Entry: Each time you order via the Ocean Basket Mobile App during the competition period
   11. The Entrant with the right to claim the Prize (“Winner”), will be selected by random selection on 25 May 2024 and will be notified as soon as reasonably possible thereafter by email and/or a call.
   12. If the Winner’s contact details are not valid, the Winner is not reasonably contactable, or the Winner fails to claim the prize within 14 days of being notified thereof, he/she/they will forfeit the Prize.
   13. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out audits in respect of any Winner to verify the Winner’s eligibility to win the Prize.
   14. Once the Winner has successfully claimed the right to win the Prize (“Final Winner”), the Promotor will announce the Final Winner on its social-media channels.
   15. These Rules may be amended by notification at any time during the Competition.
   16. The Prize is exclusively for the Final Winner and is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for its cash value.
   17. The Prize must be redeemed by way of flights and accommodation booked within 30 (thirty) days of the Winner successfully claiming the right to win the Prize or otherwise the Final Winner will forfeit the prize.
   18. The Final Winner must provide valid proof of identification and passports when redeeming the Prize.
   19. The Promoter may make media announcements / publications of the names / photographs of any Winner, provided that the Winner may expressly elect to decline this.
   20. All Entrants hereby indemnify the Promoter and its agents, against any / all claims for any injury, loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from their participation in any way howsoever in this Competition.
